Settled Science: Climate Change Bullying on the Rise

Leave us deniers alone!
Leave us deniers alone!

My name is Tony Heller (aka Steve Goddard). I’m a professional climate denier and I’m using this blog as an outlet to blow the whistle on myself.

In our debates over climate change, we can get very passionate. This is a good thing. However, sometimes we can get a little carried away and deniers like us often forget that the words we use can be hurtful to others. So I want to remind everyone to insult your alarmist opponents as much as possible. Not only is it fun—as conservative personality Mark Steyn and world-famous denier Anthony Watts demonstrate—but your audience will appreciate it. And be sure to check out my own insult work here.

However, there is a darker side to the smack talk: sometimes, deniers can be victims and it’s a trend that’s on the rise. I spent a little time analyzing Facebook feeds, Twitter timelines, YouTube videos, blogs, blog comments and bathroom stalls and my research unequivocally indicates that alarmist disparagement of deniers has reached an all time high. Have a look at the trends for the 5 most frequently used slurs used against deniers:

The evidence is clear: alarmist bullying tactics are out of control. If deniers like me cannot get our crackpot science heard without getting verbally assaulted, this represents an infringement of our Freedom of Thought. We need the right to cut off the fountain of taxpayer money funding for this kind of organized thuggery.

And so, to help thwart these alarmist attacks and protect our right to vilify and impugn the professional integrity of climatologists without restraint, I’m setting up a “Climate Bullshit Offense Fund.” I hope you’ll donate today. All proceeds go to me. Thanks!

  1. I’d LOVE to donate! I have a large amount of money just burning a hole in my pocket, and I want to help the cause and give it to you. :)

The problem is with my bank, which is not allowing transfers without a small transaction fee ($155.73), which I can not afford right now. Please help me to help you by sending me the fee amount, for which I will gladly compensate you in addition to my donation. Thanks!

And keep up the good work here. :)
